Hi! I'm on disability and trying to pick up stereoscopy as a hobby, I have found that Aptina makes an imager with a stereo-mode, block configuration of 2 MT9V032 cameras and an embedded clock, DS92LV16, pinned to an external crystal will output an 8-bit VGA signal of some kind.
I want to use something like Analog Devices ADV7391 to convert it to a CVBS signal and use a removable storage peripheral with auto-load detect on both to switch between the states of CVBS ON (plug in)/FLASH ON for signal routing from empty storage, CVBS OFF/FLASH ON to route signal to storage, CVBS ON and FLASH OUT to send a live signal, with both OFF being power down to watchdog status.
It would be nice to make the memory addresses of the flash primitively programmable by remote (IR port, eg, taking codes for rewind/fastforward etc) but I need a simple schematic and that may be too much for a starter prototype. The block is described in attached file's appendix.
Any advice on componentry, schematic design etc appreciated, thanks. |
