Sensor pixel for neural recording

Postby justanengineer » Tue Nov 25, 2014 12:59 pm

I am wondering if instead of using a MicroElectrode Array (MEA) for neural recording, we can use some different circuits like: Voltage to frequency Converter or Digital sensors that are connected directly to the electrode
Ps: the array of electrodes have pitch around 10x10microm^2.

Thanks in advance.

It would help if we knew why you feel the existing sensors need to be improved, and what sort of device you intend to use to read them.
