Description

Cooper Instrument Corporation Electro-Therm SH66A multi-probe digital temperature tester with its fitted hard carrying case, temperature probe accessories and original cardboard box as pictured. This is a professional-style three-channel temperature instrument for measuring individual probe temperatures and differences between readings.

The SH66A has an LCD readout and membrane keypad with ON, OFF, °F/°C, TEMP DIFF, individual TEMP 1, TEMP 2 and TEMP 3 selection buttons, and a LIGHT button. The original box specifies a temperature range of -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 150°C), 9-volt battery operation and a shock-resistant carrying case. The case contains an operating-instructions label inside the lid.

Included are the digital meter, the visible coiled wired probe and additional cable/probe accessories, fitted carrying case and original Cooper retail cardboard box. The exact accessories included are shown in the photographs; please inspect them for the types of probes and connectors.

TESTING: The unit was powered on and the LCD illuminated, displaying "LO" with TEMP 1 indicated, as photographed. According to the SH66A operating instructions, "LO" is the normal display when no probe is connected to the T1 input. No temperature measurement or probe accuracy testing has been performed. No testing of the other channels, calibration, or extended operation has been done. Functionality beyond power-on is unknown.

Cosmetically, the meter and hard case show age-related handling marks, surface dust and light wear. The original cardboard box is heavily worn, with creasing, scuffs, tape wear, torn edges and flaps, and discoloration. The case interior and its instruction label are shown in the photos. Please review the pictures for exact cosmetic condition and contents.
