The welder and fabricatorsbest friend. A very compact and affordable Carbon Air Arc cutter. For the smallerprojects and repairs that don?t warrant getting out a big, bulky, commercialAir Arc cutter. Keep this tool handy in your gear bag or toolbox and break itout when you need to cut or gouge bad welds or cut apart fillet welds and reachplaces you can?t get to easily with other cutting systems. Cuts materials thatyou can?t cut or get to with traditional Oxy Fuel or Plasma torches or cuttingwheels. The process will cut materials such as Brass, Cast Iron or StainlessSteel. This tool uses copper coated carbon rods that are readily available atyour local welding supply store. The tool will use either 3/16", 7/32" or ¼" round carbon arc rods. Be sure to specify your power source when you purchaseyour carbons as they are available in either AC or DC versions. The tool willrun on as low as 150 Amps and up. The tool uses shop compressed air and thenozzle design causes it to use much less air and creates less noise than most commerciallyavailable units. If you have a big project with hours of Air Arc work at HighCurrent settings than you should use a bigger, 300+ Amp unit with a higher dutycycle, but for many scarfing and cutting uses this tool will fit the jobperfectly.
