Thermo Scientific Radeye PRD-ERJ-STCBought this a while ago but I no longer need it.
It came locked so I unlocked it and used one of the Lutetium calibration sources to get a soft calibration.Seems to read background perfectly same as my others Radeyes (~5uRem/h)
Responds to the Lutetium source and reads the dose rate correctly (~20uRem/h)
I have tested it on radium items and it reads correctly. I have tested it on higher activity radium items and the plastic scintillator (high range scint) engages and I believe reads correctly. I'm assuming the high range scint is tuned to Cs137, which I do not have a high activity source of to test the accuracy.It has not been calibrated in a decade, so if you want it for really proper dose rates and everything you'd have to send it in to Thermo to calibrate. (I believe they do offer calibration services to consumers and not just companies)I have zero Cs137 in my collection so I cannot get a FWHM through the software. It's either NaI:Tl or CsI:Tl, so the res will be </=8%.Comes with:PRD-ERJ-STC Meter
