Up for sale is a vintage military-issue Simpson Electric Company Model TDS-2 Tachometer and Dwell Test Set, housed in its heavy-duty gray metal carrying case and complete with the original Department of the Army Technical Manual (TM 9-4910-500-12). Built to military specifications, this classic diagnostic unit was designed for testing engine RPM, distributor point resistance, and degrees of dwell across 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines.Key Features & Specifications:

Condition Report:
Cosmetic Condition: Very clean vintage condition overall. Both Simpson meter faces are crisp and legible with intact glass lenses and resting needles at zero. Control knobs are intact and turn properly. The gray metal case shows light storage wear and features an orange "M.F.P." military preservation/inspection stamp near the tachometer dial. Rubber insulator boots on the alligator clips are intact with typical surface age/rubbing.
Functional Condition: Untested—being sold as-is as a vintage collector
