Vintage Southern Screw Co #12x1\" Aluminum Flat Head Wood Screws Lot of 10 Boxes:
$85.00

Rare original factory lot of unused Southern Screw Company aluminum wood screws, still in the company’s distinctive teal cartons with gold oval logos.

This is a complete 10-box master carton. Each inner box is marked 1 gross (144 screws), for a total of 1,440 unused #12 x 1\" slotted flat-head aluminum wood screws. Labels read Southern Screw Co. / Wood Screws / Flat Head / 1 Gross / Made in U.S.A. / Aluminum. The “EZ to C” mark appears on the inner-box labels. One inner flap is stamped Mead packaging — a nice period detail.

Southern Screw was founded in 1945 in Statesville, North Carolina. I believe this lot is from 1955-1965 time frame, but am not firm on that date range.

The screws themselves are clean, bright, and unused. No rust. Threads and slots look crisp in hand. The packaging is the prize as much as the fasteners: that teal Southern Screw carton with repeating gold logos is exactly the kind of hardware-store graphic collectors and restorers want on the shelf.

What you receive:

Original teal master carton marked “10 BOXES OF”
10 original inner boxes, each 1 gross of #12 x 1\" aluminum flat-head slotted wood screws
Approximately 1,440 screws total

Please review all photos — they are part of the description. Vintage packaging wear is expected and photographed.

We use recycled shipping materials whenever possible — always clean and structurally sound — to reduce waste while maintaining the highest packing standards.
