The F23J5V3A1S-C is a compact, IP68 waterproof DC-DC step-down buck converter that converts 8V–36V DC input (nominally 12V) to a stable 5V DC output at up to 3A (15W) through a USB-C connector. Ideal for charging phones, powering dash cams, GPS units, Raspberry Pi boards, and other USB-C devices directly from a vehicle, boat, solar panel, or battery system. The high-efficiency switching design (~85%) is sealed in an epoxy-filled housing with integrated mounting tabs for permanent installation in demanding environments.

⚠️ Important: This module is NOT a PD Fast-Charger. It outputs5V only and does not include a USB Power Delivery (PD) negotiation chip. It charges devices that accept standard 5V USB power. Devices that require PD negotiation (such as USB-C laptops) will not charge from this module, and some PD-capable devices may default to USB baseline current (0.5–0.9A) instead of drawing the full 3A available. This module is NOT a PD Fast-Charger. It provides5V power only through its USB-C connector and does not include a USB Power Delivery (PD) negotiation chip. When a PD-capable device doesn't receive a PD response, it typically defaults to the USB baseline current limit (0.5–0.9A) as a safety precaution -- the device limits itself, not the module.

⚠️ Important Notes

Do not exceed 36V input voltage. Input above 36V may damage the module.
Do not reverse polarity. Always connect red to positive (+) and black to negative (−). Reversed connections can permanently damage the module.
No USB data support. This module provides power only -- no data transfer, video, or other USB data functions.
No PD negotiation. Outputs 5V only. It is not a PD Fast Charger. Devices requiring USB PD may default to baseline current (0.5–0.9A) or may not charge at all.
Non-isolated topology. Input and output grounds are electrically connected.
Waterproof rating applies to the module body. The USB-C connector is not waterproof when exposed -- protect the connection point in wet environments.
Operating temperature: -40°C to +55°C. Avoid mounting in locations that exceed this range.
