Sensitivity (Gain): 1 pA/V to 1 mA/V in a 1–2–5 sequence, with an added vernier adjustment for intermediate values. Input Noise: As low as 5 fA/√Hz. Maximum Bandwidth: Up to 1 MHz. DC Bias Voltage: ±5 V adjustable DC bias. Input Offset Current: ±1 pA to ±1 mA variable input offset current. - Low Noise Mode: Places primary gain in the front end of the amplifier to achieve optimal noise performance.
- High Bandwidth Mode: Shifts gain to later stages to maximize the frequency response and speed of the front end.
- Low Drift Mode: Replaces the input amplifier with a very low-input-current op-amp, reducing DC drift by up to a factor of 1,000.
- Filters: Two configurable RC filters (low-pass, high-pass, or band-pass) with cutoffs settable from 0.03 Hz to 1 MHz (6 or 12 dB/octave rolloff).
- Grounding: Fully floating amplifier ground; input ground can float up to ±40 V.
- External Control: Opto-isolated RS-232 interface (9600 baud) plus TTL blanking and toggle inputs.
- Power Supply: Operates on standard AC line power (100/120/220/240 VAC) or via three internal sealed lead-acid batteries providing up to 15 hours of portable operation. Note: The internal batteries will require replacement if battery operation is desired. Replacement chargeable batteries are available from SRS or electronics distributors.
